Engineering and Factory Supplies Ltd (EFS) is one of the area’s largest suppliers of industrial equipment and consumables. As sponsors of the Motorsport workshop at the college and a dealer of bott products, they worked with bott to provide consultancy on supplying the new workshop furniture.

Paul Maynard, Project Sales Manager at Bott Ltd, visited the site and prepared drawings to suit the college’s requirements. Once approved by the college these were built and installed.

Paul said: “As a professional and efficient range and finish was required, we decided that bott cubio best suited the space. It’s a comprehensive storage system designed for demanding use and covers drawer cabinets, cupboards, workbenches and mobile storage solutions. We installed cupboards and cabinets in a hard wearing two tone grey paint finish, as well as, bespoke waste bin units (to encourage good housekeeping) and galvanised worktops which were specified for heavy weight loads and use with oils & liquids. bott cubio is designed to stand the test of time and has been developed to support higher load capacities with long-term durability.”

The Motorsport workshop sits within a new £5.8 million building funded through Norfolk County Council (NCC), the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk and the Skills Funding Agency. With purpose-built, state-of-the-art workshops, classrooms and practical training facilities, the new building caters for a range of students and apprentices including those studying engineering, carpentry & joinery, fabrication and welding, electrical installation, electronics, computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM).
